Consultants (ALNCcm) are nurses who have taken beginning
and advanced
courses in order to provide services to attorneys,

training with a case they work in the course from start to
finish. They are provided with all of the tools needed
to create reports of their own on any case they get. An ALNCcm can locate

The ALNCcm must have
current knowledge of Advanced Legal Nurse Consulting
techniques. The ALNCcm may assist the attorney during
interviews, trial and depositions to help in eliciting

professional and ethical conduct.
The international
standards for Advanced Legal Nurse Consultants requires
that those requesting the designation of Advanced Legal
Nurse Consultant (ALNCcm) must meet the
requirements by completing all course workshops, turning
in all homework, and successfully passing the
examination. Upon completion, the certification is valid
for two years. In order to keep their certification, the ALNCcm must continue to stay abreast of
current advanced techniques by earning continuing
education credits of fifteen (15) hours of training
every year after the initial training to keep their
credentials active.
